Second week of June... in pictures

We spent a LOT of time outdoors in June. Amelia and Jacob loved having the freedom to ride their bikes at the side of the road, since we live on a dead end and so there isn't too much traffic (most of the time.

^^ We have since talked with both children about riding on the right hand side of the road when riding bicycles, but on the trike we figure it's fine to be on the left hand side.

Rebecca really enjoyed watching her big cousins riding up and down the street!

We often sat on the lawn to watch Amelia and Jacob play with the children across the street as well. Of course, we also had visits from said children over here... and still do, though I haven't got any age-mates for them to visit with anymore! They just like to come over and talk, hang out, and even help out!

Justin thinks this picture is cute, because of the expression on her face, and the word on her shirt! (she was telling on someone, not sure what it was about, seeing as I rarely even listen to tattling...)
Okay... so apparently the only person I caught with a normal look on their face was Rebecca, but anyway...
Justin walked out on Sunday morning, and was informed by Amelia that Rebecca was all ready for church, because she was wrapped up in swaddling clothes, just like baby Jesus was when he was little!

And then... pictures from the Canon Kids Carnival!

Hot dogs, chips, and lemonade for lunch...

We played a duck fishing game. You had to pull out two ducks with the same numbers on the bottom (and got as many tries as it took to do it).

Rebecca really likes to fish things out of the water, so she got involved as well...

Those two ducks in her hands actually have matching numbers. We were surprised, especially since she pulled them out first thing!

Jacob and his prize yo-yo from the duck thing.

Amelia got a... cat? dog? Not sure which!

There was free cotton candy... we took the kids home with sugar highs, LOL!

Rebecca thought that cloud of blue sugar looked irresistable...
So she's now been introduced to a little refined sugar. I know... bad Mummy... Oh well, I don't suppose not even a teaspoon of that stuff will hurt her too badly...

There was a bouncy tiger thing there, and the kids went into it at least two or three times and had a great time!

Jacob got TWO balloon swords... but the blue one got popped fairly soon upon arriving home, and the purple one deflated after a week.

Jake also got a pirates "scarf" as he calls it... of course, he managed to lose his little safari hat... I sure wish we knew what happened to it!!

Rebecca got sunglasses for her duck grabbing skills... but they don't stay on, because she keeps taking them off!

Anyway, that's largely what we were up to the second week of June... I have to go shrink more pictures down to size to do the next week in June!
