Dolphins... and A Few Others

We went out for our anniversary without much of a plan, but decided along the way what we would do. We dropped by Krispy Kreme and got some doughnuts, then we went to watch the dolphins! :-)

Rebecca STILL loves Pepsi cans.

Rebecca got a Krispy Kreme hat! Hats don't stay on her head long, but we did manage to catch this one picture before she started taking it off within seconds.

Here's a picture of Virginia Beach in the summer... any wonder that we don't go down there in the summer?!

On the boat going out to where the dolphins were!

This is the other boat, it travels incredibly fast (as you can see!). We were in a nice tame little boat... that one is more like a joy ride type boat.

And then we found the dolphins!!!

This dolphin did a tail salute thing... they said it is either a sign of friendliness or a sign of agression, so they were going to take it as a sign of friendship, lol.

I didn't realize I'd caught this one, but apparently I caught it blowing out it's blowspout!

Three in a row!

That's all the dolphin pictures I've got to share (I didn't figure you wanted to see all 150 of them!).

Here are a few of Rebecca in her "high chair" that I made for her.

This was her first time in it, and I gave her this little plate of food... she thought it was great, all the food was the perfect size to drop one piece at a time onto the floor. *sigh* :-P (It was peas, carrots, and grated apple)

Justin caught the following three photos. She was making funny faces at him, so he grabbed the camera... and she started hamming it up instead!

My big nose

So, apparently I have a big nose (at least, according to Melissa).

Melissa was winding Rebecca down for the night, so Melissa gave her a bath and was aiming on giving her a massage as it helps Rebecca to sleep better during the night (i.e. like 7 hours vs 4-5). Rebecca wanted to nurse instead. So Melissa allowed Rebecca to nurse for a few minutes, then set her down to give her a massage. Rebecca was of course less than pleased at having her feeding cut short. So I came in and was trying to calm Rebecca while Melissa massaged Rebecca, and put my face right on Rebecca's. She calmed down. So I commented to Melissa and did it again, and again she calmed down. Melissa commented 'see, I told you you have a big nose! She probably thinks it is a nipple.' So I put my face down on Rebecca's again, and watched her try to latch. So, being the good father I am, I washed my nose and let her have it. Rebecca ceased her crying despite Melissa's and my shaking with laughter, and my new challenge at figuring out how to breathe through my mouth while laughing...
