We enjoyed Christmas this year. One of the local churches had a VERY alive living nativity with actual animals involved! The sheep were very friendly, so Justin and Rebecca actually got to pet them. :)

We were invited out to dinner at one of the church members' homes, and the lady got each of the little girls who had been invited one of those blue stockings, so rather than having to make a stocking for Elias, we decided Rebecca could just pass hers on to him and keep the pretty stocking she'd been given. :)

Up early (6 or 6:30am??? a little earlier than normal for sure!), and ready to see what's inside!

Elias got a little Dr. Seuss book (The Shape of Me), some pacifiers and clip, some teethers, and LOTS of socks with grippies on the bottoms... and I think a couple of other odds and ends. I was highly creative, huh? :)

Rebecca got playdoh, hair clips/ties, some stretchy amphibious creatures, and a bunch of other odds and ends. A lot of the things are stuff that will be showing up in her church bag through the year. Right now the stretchy frogs are in her church bag, as well as a pad of paper she got in her stocking. :)

This, I think, is the best picture I got of the two of them in front of the tree.

And this I thought was cute. :)

Rebecca loves to play with this magnetic dress-up princess!

Firetruck from Uncle Gerry and Aunt Dee.

Dress from Granny. Despite the odd look on her face, she actually
loves this little dress, and it looks lovely on her!

Looking at his new book. It's a touch and feel book all about different types of trucks/vehicles.

Playing with a shape sorter.

Noah's Ark... the Touch & Feel edition! She loves this toy!

Sitting in his new booster seat. We figured he'd need it eventually... Although he's not really inclined to eat anything solid as of yet...

Colouring with her Tadoodles from Uncle Gerry and Aunt Dee! :)
